Like Aadhar cards, Pashu Aadhar to be assigned to cows and buffaloes

In a country of over a billion people, cows and buffaloes will also have to apply for Aadhar, which will be known as the Pashu Aadhar. If implemented successfully, it would be the largest database of animals. Just like the Aadhar cards we use, the National Dairy Development Board will also assign a unique identification number to each animal and keep a record of all the necessary information and manage the livestock.
