Lok Sabha sits over 12 hours without lunch, dinner to debate demands for grants under Railway ministry

In a commendable and praiseworthy step, the Lok Sabha on Thursday conducted its business till late at night in a marathon sitting that crossed 12 hours while concluding debate on the demands for grants under the control of the Ministry of Railways for 2020-21, skipping lunch as well as dinner breaks. This was the longest proceeding of the year in which the lower house sat till 11.57 pm, around 6 hours more to normal proceedings.
