LS Elections 2019: 72 seats in 9 states go to polls in 4th phase today

Phase IV of LS elections in 72 parliamentary constituencies across 9 states to be held today. The stakes are high for the ruling BJP & its allies as it had swept 56 of these seats & rest for the opposition in 2014. The EC has set up 1.40 lakh polling booths & made security arrangements. Of all, phase 4 has the highest no of candidates with criminal records, 23% have declared criminal cases against them.
