LS Polls 2019: Phase II 95 constituencies across 13 states has 16% candidates with Criminal record

Phase II Voting will be held in 95 constituencies across 12 states & union territories. Crimewave has always been there in Indian politics & it has been found that 16% candidates i.e., 251 out of 1590 contesting in elections have declared criminal cases against them, 27 others have 5 or more pending criminal cases. Congress tops the charts with 23 such candidates followed by BJP & BSP with 16 candidates each.
