L&T chairman AM Naik has said that government's Make in India project couldn't create enough job opportunities and the companies still prefer imported goods over locally manufactured products. He said that the population of China and India are almost equal, and India needs to have an economy equivalent to them i.e., 12-13% economic growth every year. Otherwise, the shortage of jobs will continue to rise.
