Maldives Sate of Emergency lifted

Maldives 45 days long state of emergency has been lifted by Maldives President Abdulla Yameen. The emergency was imposed on February 5 following a political and constitutional unrest in the state which erupts after Supreme Court on February 1 ordered a release of nine persons including former President Mohamed Nasheed. The official statement was released by President's office.
