Manmohan Singh alleged that only 1 party has access to 90% of election funds

EX-PM Manmohan Singh has alleged that only 1 party has access to 90% of election funds and hence the time has come to discuss state funding of the elections. Singh was addressing the birth centenary celebrations of veteran CPI leader Indrajit Gupta and said 'One of the widely cited scholarly works of Indrajit Guptaji was his report on the funding of election.' Gupta had served as Union Home Minister from 1996 to 1998.
