Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman says millennial mindsets prefer app-based cab services like Ola and Uber rather than purchasing their own vehicles, which adversely affects the automobile and components industry. She said that the govt departments are allowed to buy new vehicles over the skidding sales and job losses in the auto sector. Domestic passenger vehicle sales dropped for the 10th consecutive month.
