New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has announced an increase in the minimum wage and the top tax rate for the rich. While the minimum wage has been increased by $1.14 per hour to $20 an hour. Nearly 175,000 workers are expected to get some relief after the move amid increases in unemployment and sickness benefits. The country's economy is expected to get a $216 million boost after the announcement by the PM.
