India reacted sharply to UN General Assembly President Volkan Bozkir's remarks on Jammu and Kashmir. Bozkir, who is on a three-day official visit to Pakistan, said in a press conference that it was Pakistan's duty to bring the issue of the Jammu and Kashmir more strongly to the UN. Reacting to it, India said that Bozkir did a great disservice to the office he occupies by making "misleading and prejudiced remarks".
