Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday once again asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make Home Minister Amit Shah his successor. Speaking at a press conference in Lucknow alongside Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, Kejriwal stated that PM Modi has made it a rule for party leaders to retire after 75 years. "PM Modi will turn 75 on September 17, 2025...[He] has decided to make Amit Shah his successor and...make him PM on September 17, 2025," he said.
