Nearly 30% Budget Spent by CBI in last 6 weeks

The last six weeks of the financial year 2016-17 experienced the spending of approx 20 CR Rupees that account to be about 30 % of Rs. 66.77 CR, the total budgetary allocation to CBI. However, nearly 99.49% of the amount has been spent on varied schemes that were formulated. The amount being allocated to CBI reduced from 75 to 66.77 CR in the final grant of 2016-17. The related department has asked to spend the amount in even pace.
