Narendra Modi, Indian PM and K P Sharma Oli jointly inaugurated Motihari-Amlekhganj petroleum product pipeline. This is more than 60 km-long pipeline and will be first-ever cross-country pipeline of South Asia. The India-Nepal energy cooperation stated this as a symbol of close bilateral relations. This initiative will help to enhance the energy security of the region and substantially cut down on transit costs.
