No entry in New Zealand waters, says Jacinda Arderns as Australia plans to develop nuclear submarine fleet

As Australia announced its plan to develop a nuclear submarine fleet with the help of United States and United Kingdom, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said Wellington will not allow nuclear-powered vessels to enter its waters and the decades-long ban will continue. "This arrangement in no way changes our security and intelligence ties with these three countries, as well as Canada," Ardern said.
