No Indian study has shown pollution shortens life: Prakash Javdekar

Union minister Prakash Javadekar on Friday, December 6, said that no Indian study has shown that pollution shortens the lifespan of a human being. “Let us not create a fear psychosis among people,” Javadekar told the Lok Sabha in response to a question about studies that life expectancy is coming down due to pollution. He further stated that the government has been taking pro-active actions to curb pollution.
