No interference needed in appointment of Nageswara as interim CBI chief: SC

The Supreme Court has today said that there is no more requirement to interfere in the appointment of Nageswara Rao as the interim CBI chief because the relief has already been granted to him with the appointment as a full-time CBI Director now. A plea from the NGO Common Cause was challenging Rao's appointment as the interim chief. Justices Arun Mishra and Vineet Saran gave the verdict on Tuesday.
