Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram's plea for interim bail citing the poor health condition has been turned down by the Delhi High Court on Friday after an AIIMS medical board said the former finance minister need not be hospitalised. The High Court has now ordered the Tihar Jail superintendent to keep Chidambaram’s cell clean and provide mineral water, protection against mosquitoes and a mask.
