NSA: Russian agents have been hacking major email program

US National Security Agency claims the same Russian military hacking group that interfered in the 2016 presidential election and a malware attack the next year is now exploiting an email server program since last August or earlier. The major vulnerability in Exim Mail Transfer Agent which runs on Unix-type operating systems was spotted 11 months ago. So, the timing of NSA’s allegations has raised a few eyebrows.
