Offensive remarks over Tsunami lead to resignation of Japan's Olympics Minister

Ahead of the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, the Olympic minister, Yoshitaka Sakurada of the country has resigned from the post. He passed some offensive remarks over 2011 Tsunami and earthquake which left maximum people affected, left the gathering of people at an event offended. Followed by this has come the news of him stepping down from his post. The PM Shinzo Abe apologized for appointing him and for his remarks.
