India reacted strongly after Pakistan Ambassador to the UN Munir Akram raised the Kashmir issue, India's internal issue, during a UNSC debate. India said it desires "normal neighbourly relations" with Pakistan while putting the onus on Islamabad to take "credible, verifiable" action on cross-border terrorism. R Madhu Sudan, Counselor at Permanent Mission of India to the UN, accused Pak of indulging in theatrics.
