P Chidambaram in Tihar Jail, to get a separate cell with western toilet, wooden Takht to sleep

P Chidambaram, ex-finance & home minister, will likely spend the next 14 days in Tihar jail no. 7 after a Delhi court adjourned him to judicial custody till Sept 19 in INX media case. The court permitted him to carry his medicines to jail. After a medical test, Chidambaram will be provided with a wooden Takht to sleep, a separate cell with a western toilet but food remains the same. He can order snacks cooked in jail canteen.
