The US security agency Pentagon is not looking impressed with President Trump's idea to hit the cultural sites in Iran. Defense Secretary Mark Esper said the U.S. will “follow the laws of armed conflict.” He cited the "laws of armed conflict" and said the US forces will refrain from hitting the cultural sites. Esper's statement has nullified Trump's statement in which he warned of hitting 52 targets in Iran.
