Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sharad Pawar attacked the BJP-Shivsena alliance after the results of Maharashtra Assembly elections became evident. " The Maharashtra election trends show that people did not like the arrogance of power," Pawar said. It was for the first time that the NCP(54) emerged as the senior alliance in the state leaving behind Congress(45). Pawar also ruled out the possibility of supporting Shivsena.
