PM Gareeb Yojana extended till Diwali; One nation one ration card on cards: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a major announcement today said that the benefits of the PM Gareeb Yojana have been extended till November as festivals like Diwali and Chatth Puja fall in the month, increasing the expenses. A whopping Rs 90,000 crore will be spent in the program benefitting 80 crore people. The PM also said that the government is working towards a centralized Ration card as a part of One Nation, One ration card.
