'PM Modi made no such request': MEA rejects Trump's Kashmir claim

Hours after US President Donald Trump has offered to mediate in solving the Kashmir issue between India and Pakistan and said that PM Modi has also asked him to help ease tensions between the two countries, MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar refuting Trump's claim said in a statement that PM Modi made no such request. It has been India's consistent position. that all outstanding issues with Pakistan are discussed only bilaterally, he added.
