Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to offer his condolences to the people of Haiti and the first lady over the assassination of President Jovenel Moise. "Saddened by the assassination of President Jovenel Moise and the attack on First Lady Martine Moise of Haiti. My Condolences to the family of President Moise and the people of Haiti," the PM wrote. Interim PM Claude Joseph has taken control of the country.
