PM Modi reached out to 7 leaders from neighbouring countries to exchange New Year greetings via telephonic conversations. He conveyed good wishes & stressed on Delhi's commitment to the 'neighbourhood first' policy and a vision of shared peace, security, prosperity and progress for all of the country's friends and partners in the region. He spoke to his counterparts from Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan & Maldives.
