PM Modi slashes size of his personal staff by 50%, PMO by 15% to cut cost

Prime Minister Narendra Modi cut down the strength of his personal staff at his residence-cum-office at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, by almost half immediately after taking charge as PM for the second term. PM's personal staff's strength has been reduced from 50 to 25. In addition to that, there has been more than 15 per cent overall reduction in the staff strength of PMO. The PM has taken this step to cut the cost and improve productivity.
