Political violence by TMC workers continues for second day, several BJP workers killed, houses set ablaze

The workers of Mamta Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress continued to create ruckus across the state for the second consecutive day. Several BJP workers were beaten to death. Shops of those supporting the saffron party were looted and houses of many BJP workers were vandalised. According to BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya, four party workers have been killed and over 4,000 houses have been vandalised in the state.
