President Ram Nath Kovind has signed the order to extend the Inner Line Permit regime to Manipur 2 days after Home Minister Amit Shah said Manipur will be brought under the ILP regime. Manipur is the 4th state after Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Mizoram where the ILP regime is applicable. So, to visit the ILP-regime states, outsiders including people from other states of the country need to take permission.
