President Ram Nath Kovind Accepts Modi's resignation; PM Modi set to take oath for 2nd term soon

President Ram Nath Kovind accepted PM Modi's resignation & has asked Modi & his council of ministers to continue till a new govt assumes office. The 17th Lok Sabha has to assume office by June 3. The Union Cabinet asked the President to dissolve the 16th Lok Sabha, which will pave the way for a formal launch of the process to form a new govt. Modi will be formally named as a leader of the NDA party that will meet tomorrow evening.
