President Ram Nath Kovind appoints Narendra Modi as PM, ask Modi to decide council of ministers

President Ram Nath Kovind appointed Narendra Modi as Prime Minister after he was unanimously elected as the leader by the BJP led NDA & President also requested Modi the PM to advise him about the names of others to be appointed members of the Union Council of Ministers. He also asked him to indicate the date & time of the swearing-in ceremony. The swearing-in ceremony is likely to be held on May 30 at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
