RBI Official: IMF, World Bank must consult developing economies before taking decisions on them

RBI Executive Director Rabi Mishra has said that global financial institutions like IMF, World Bank should consult the realities of the developing economies before taking decisions on them. He said that the top-down approach hardly gives any result as countries like China don't even attend the IMP meetings. He added that a coordinated approach in decision making is the key feature of a robust economy.
