Reports say Pak-origin UK minister blocked Dawood Ibrahim aide Tiger Hanif's extradition

The British government had turned down India's request for the extradition of Tiger Hanif, the alleged aide of fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim, who is wanted in India in connection with two bomb blasts in Surat in 1993. As per the reports a Pakistan-origin UK minister blocked Hanif's extradition in 2019. The then Home Secretary of UK Sajid Javid turned down India's request regarding the extradition of the criminal.
