Russia will provide S-300 missile defense system to Syria in 2 weeks

As a response to the downing of the Russian IL -20 plane last week, Russia will provide Syria with S -300 missile defense system within 2 weeks, announced defense minister Sergei Shoigu. The system will be deployed to improve the security of the Russian troops in Syria by helping the Syria to identify Russian aircraft while improving Syria's air defense forces significantly to prevent uncontrolled attack on that territory.
