Russian election: Google's involvement is a violation of Russian law

Moscow has accused the US of interfering in their upcoming elections after Opposition leader Aleksey Navalny used Google service YouTube for paid ads for an unsanctioned rally that could influence the outcome of the vote. The election commission said that this was a violation of Russian law. A senior diplomat stated that the US will be notified that the actions of their media outlet are close to breaking the Russian law.
