SC hears its 1st 'love jihad' case

For the first time, the Supreme Court is dealing with a case of 'love jihad'. A Muslim man has petitioned it after the Kerala HC termed his marriage a case of 'love jihad' and annulled it. The court issued a notice to the Kerala government and asked the National Investigation Agency to participate in the litigation. The next hearing is on August 16.
