SC tells Govt: Amend law if needed but regulate cab services Ola & Uber

In light of increasing assaults incidents against women in cab services like Ola and Uber, the Supreme Court has asked the govt to take measures to ensure security for women, even if needs amending the law. A 3-judge bench also discussed setting up the One-Stop Crisis Centre for women. Govt has been asked to constitute such centers to address assault cases against women in compliance with laid regulation in each district.
