Senior MP BJP leader Laxmikant Sharma passes away due to Covid-19

Laxmikant Sharma, the former Madhya Pradesh higher education minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader, passed away due to Covid-19 in a private hospital on Monday. The 60-year-old politician was admitted to a private hospital on May 12 after testing positive a day earlier. According to doctors, Sharma died on May 31 due to bilateral Covid pneumonia. MP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan condoled his death on Twitter.
