Soon after coming out of detention, Mehbooba Mufti vows to "take back" Article 370

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti was released after nearly 14 months of detention under the Public Safety Act. Soon after her release, Mufti vowed to restore Article 370 in the erstwhile state. "Now, we all have to remember... what Delhi Durbar took from us with an illegal, undemocratic decision on August 5, we have to take it back. Thousands have lost lives because of Kashmir issue," she said.
