South Korea to drag Japan to international court over release of Fukushima nuclear plant waste into the sea

Days after Japan announced its decision to release more than 1 million tonnes of contaminated water from the Fukushima nuclear plant into the sea, South Korean President Moon Jae-in has ordered his officials to explore the option of filing a petition against Tokyo's decision in the international court. South Korea also summoned Koichi Aiboshi, Tokyo's ambassador in Seoul, to register its protest over the issue.
