According to South Korea, the leaders of North and South Korea have agreed to restore halted communication lines and strengthen ties. According to the presidential administration in Seoul, President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un reached an agreement after numerous rounds of letter exchanges since April. The suspension of cross-border communication connections was one year ago this month.
