After years of tussle, South and North Korea have restored their once-severed hotlines to mend the ties. The two nations have been trying to rebuild their ties and South Korean President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un have exchanged multiple letters since April on the same line. According to North Korea's state media outlet KCNA, "the two leaders have explored ways to recover relations".
