SP and BSP announces to contest LS elections together in MP and Uttarakhand

On Monday the announcement came from Bahujan Samaj Party and the Samajwadi Party that they are contesting the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh together. The SP will contest for 3 seats out of 29 from MP and 1 out of 5 from Uttrakhand. This comes after both the party leaders Mayawati and Akhilesh Yadav joined hands for Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, an equal partnership was decided between them.
