Amid the growing tensions with China over Hong Kong and other issues, the Canadian spy agency has revealed that the instances of foreign interference and spying in Canada have reached the Cold War levels in the country. The agency directly blamed Russia and China for the increased spy activities in Canada. According to CSIS, "foreign threat actors" were working on the behalf of Chinese and Russian spy agencies.
