Sri Lankan authorities extended deadline to surrender swords and large knives

The Sri Lankan authorities on Saturday announced to surrender swords and large knives at their homes after the Easter Day attacks before Monday midnight. But the authorities have now extended the deadline and has asked to surrender the weapons by Wednesday midnight. This has come following the probes in the country after the attacks that claimed 253 lives. Since April 21, a large number of weapons have been seized.
