Supreme Court rejects the petition to pass order on Farooq Abdullah's detention

A bench of Supreme Court headed by the chief justice Ranjan Gogoi refused to pass any order on the order of Farooq Abdullah's detention on Monday. A habeas corpus petition was filed by MDMK chief Vaiko on the behalf of Abdullah. Vaiko said that he had been unable to meet or contact Abdullah after the abrogation of article 370. Ranjan Gogoi said that the detention order will have to be challenged before an appropriate forum.
