Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's British-born wife Asma al-Assad is likely to face terrorism charges if reports are to be believed. The reports have emerged as UK's Metropolitan Police has launched a preliminary investigation. The investigation against Asma al-Assad was opened after London-based Guernica 37 International Justice Chambers filed a confidential filing with the war crimes unit of the police.
