Taiwan accuses China of spreading fake news about Covid-19

A Taiwanese official said the authorities in the country were undertaking measures to ward off misinformation over Covid-19 that is circulating on social media platforms, while accusing China of spreading fake news about the pandemic. "We must immediately intercept this, and not let cognitive warfare affect Taiwan's society," Chen Tsung-yen, Taiwan’s Deputy Minister of the Interior said while speaking to the media.
