Taliban warns US against destabilising regime in first face-to-face talks

In the first face-to-face talks since the withdrawal of troops, the Taliban have warned Washington against doing anything to destabilise the regime. "Good relations with Afghanistan are good for everyone. Nothing should be done to weaken the existing government in Afghanistan which can lead to problems for the people," Taliban foreign minister Amir Khan Muttaqi said. US will help Afghanistan with the Covid-19 vaccination.
